Export Process — Order to Shipment

Eight steps from order confirmation to document transmission.

Order Confirmation

Buyer submits specification (grade, colour, processing form, quantity, packaging, destination). Pro forma invoice issued. Payment terms agreed.

Lot Selection & Preparation

Lots matching buyer specification selected from available stock. Processing (stemming, threshing) completed if required. Conditioning to target moisture.

03

Grading & Baling

Leaf graded, conditioned, and baled to buyer specification. Each bale labelled with grade, colour, crop year, lot reference, and net weight.

Laboratory Analysis

Representative samples drawn from each lot. Submitted to accredited laboratory. Analysis report issued per lot covering moisture, nicotine, sugars, chloride, and buyer-specified parameters.

Pre-Shipment Inspection

Independent inspection company (buyer-specified or mutually agreed) inspects grade, colour, moisture, weight, and packaging. Inspection certificate issued.

Export Documentation

Phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, commercial invoice, packing list prepared. Pesticide residue analysis issued if specified.

Container Loading

Bales loaded into containers at agreed port. Container seal number recorded. Bill of lading issued upon vessel departure.

Document Transmission

Full shipping document set transmitted to buyer: B/L, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, lab analysis report, inspection certificate.
